OSHA Trench Safety Day

  •  June 25, 2019
     7:30 am - 3:00 pm

It’s easy to underestimate the hazard that excavation work presents, but one cubic yard of soil can weigh as much as a car. Join us for this FREE event as we gather with OSHA area directors and industry partners to discuss safety regulations, rescue and recovery, and hear from someone who experienced a trench collapse first- hand. Trench cave-in protection systems will be on-site for demonstrations.

Presented by OSHA & Industry Partners. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m., followed by programming from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Agenda

  • OSHA Trenching Requirements
  • Soil Mechanics
  • Competent Person
