About the Speaker:

William “Bob” Coffey is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and holds degrees in both Chemistry and Psychology.  He has worked in industries including pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, heavy manufacturing and paper manufacturing and is currently principal of WRC Safety and Risk Consultants.  Bob holds both the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) designations. While Bob is the Owner of WRC Safety and Risk Consulting (A full service EHS Consulting firm in business over 14 years). He recently held the position of Corporate Director, Safety and Health Process excellence for a pulp, paper and container company. In this position Bob specialized in Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention.

Bob has been published in Professional Safety Magazine, Occupational Health and Safety magazine and in local and regional newsletters.  He also wrote a chapter of ASSP’s (formerly ASSE) Safety Professional’s Handbook. Bob is an experienced speaker on the local, regional, national and international levels.
