President Message January 2020

Dear Fellow Safety Professionals,

Happy New Year! and welcome to a new decade. I want to kick off the new year with a resolution to re-commit to the “health” side of health and safety………. so, let’s see how it goes again this year.  I was disappointed that I could not make our December social due to work travel but heard it was a great venue and well attended.  Special thanks to Keith Robinson for being our resident party planner and always coming up with great events for us to network and socialize outside of our professional obligations.

I hope to see everyone at the upcoming Chapter meeting in January.  Some notable events to put on your calendars in the next few months are:

·       January 17^th, Chapter meeting at S.E.A

·       January 23^rd, WISE meeting at Hen Quarter in Dublin, OH

·       March 11-13^th, Ohio Safety Congress- Central Ohio ASSP will be         representing ASSP with a booth in the exhibit hall

As we finalize the February-May meetings to close out our year, we will also be doing nominations and elections for next year.  Please consider running for office and continuing the success of this great Chapter.

Full Time and Part Time Industrial Hygiene Position(s) at Safex!

Industrial Hygiene Consultant

The successful candidate would have:

• Experience delivering industrial hygiene and safety training to peers/other professionals
• Experience managing others as part of project management or as a team leader
• Diverse industrial hygiene sampling experience
• CIH
