PRESIDENT'S LETTER

President Message September 2019

Dear fellow safety professionals,

I am excited to lead this group of safety professionals that share a common interest and advance the safety profession in our work, homes, and those we influence every day.  Our first Chapter meeting is right around the corner and I hope you all will join me to kick off the 2019-2020 ASSP Central Ohio Chapter Meetings.   The executive and planning group have put together some informative meetings to help you advance your safety knowledge and stay on top of relevant topics in the industry.  I am also excited to continue our student chapter support at Ohio University and with the success of our annual golf tournament last May we will be able to contribute more dollars this year to the student chapter.  Finally, I want to encourage any of you that might be considering serving as a committee member or just volunteering for the Chapter, to act and let one of the executive board members know of your interest.  We can’t continue to bring new innovative programs and fundraising opportunities unless we introduce new ideas that come from those willing to serve.

Sincerely,

Allen Bragg

President, Central Ohio ASSP
