Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Analyst

We’re hiring an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Analyst in Westerville who will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, and performing trend analysis on EHS data. The position will support the Vertiv, Americas Service and Manufacturing Safety Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with accident investigations and follow-up with required corrective action
  • Track Environmental, Health and Safety metrics including Quarterly KPIs and PPE Acknowledgement submissions
  • Responsible for the accuracy and auditing of all OSHA and Safety related statistics
  • Maintain safety files and records; prepares reports for management as needed
  • Generate Quarterly charts and safety information topics for communications meetings
  • Create, analyze, and distribute monthly safety performance tracking metrics
  • Track, log, and file training certifications
  • Quantify and present Fleet & Safety statistics to the Safety Leadership team
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of Safety Communications
  • Administrate the Safety Accident Management (SAM) Database
  • Track Safety and Environmental Audit documents
  • Manage EHS SharePoint Site
  • Administrate the U.S. Worker’s Compensation program including Third Party Administrator (TPA) coordination
  • Provide facility and field support as needed
  • Responsible for the Contractor Safety Management Program
  • Assist in maintaining Third Party Pre-qualification sites
  • Provide daily support to the safety department on a variety of safety projects
  • Assist with other supporting activities as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field preferred
  • 2+ years experience in Environmental, Health and Safety Management documentation systems preferred
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations that impact the company, including: OSHA, EPA, State and local laws and ordinances preferred
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks and complete work on schedule with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge in Power BI, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and aptitude for learning new applications
  • Strong ability to analyze data for meaningful trends and create concise reports to inform leadership
  • Ability to excel in a data driven culture
